Love in a pocket

I made this one for my husband who loves getting cards from me.   One tag has a cartoon drawing on it of a box of fries and a hamburger that says "we go together like ..."  and the other tag has some hearts and arrows and a personal lovey-dovey message from me.   Inside the card it says "love you to the moon and back".  The tags could be used for a bookmark.  I'm sure you'll agree it's quite manly; it reminds me of those multiple pockets in the front of carpenters aprons!

The fold is the double diagonal pocket card from Splitcoast Stampers.  It uses double sided paper and is simple with a few folds and cuts.  I ran two gold peel-off strips across the front to accentuate the diagonal and lead to the heart, matted a panel topper and added the gold diecut heart.

Diecut heart: Provocraft (I have had it for years and don't know what it's called, there is nothing written on it, but I think it might be concentric hearts?)  I used only the centre one.
Printed Panel: Unknown, from stash
Paper: Unknown, from stash
Flourish stamps: Hero Arts
Diecut ends of tags: Spellbinders Labels One

What a wonderful card Carol - I am sure your DH would have appreciated it - more so if he reads a lot.

Love this Carol! I feel so guilty now. Made my hubby a gorgeous card for our anniversary, now Valentine's has passed and I still haven't written in it! I so need to do that. It's the little things that keep love alive isn't it?! Gorgeous 'tag' card. Love it to bits. Hugs, Wends x
